# Multiple RedCard Guide

## What is a RedCard?

<figure><img src="/files/hu0KJD31PDbj0ghXtnbh" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

RedCards are Target's debit/credit/reloadable card that offers customers who use it 5% off their purchases on Target.com, contrary to regular debit cards though they require you to connect a bank account as the funding source instead of creating your own from Target.

## Do I have to open multiple bank accounts to have multiple RedCards?

No! This guide shows you how to generate up to **FIVE** RedCards from one account!

## Instructions

Please note this can be done either online or by calling target directly at (888)-755-5856. Please note that for the requested additional RedCards will be sent via physical mail, so you wont know the card number til they arrive.

1. If you haven't already, sign up for a target redcard [here](https://www.target.com/redcard).
2. Go [here](https://rcam.target.com/#/) to log in to your redcard account.
3. Go to the "Settings & Help" menu
4. Click "Add Cardholder"
5. From there you can enter information of folks you "authorize" to use your redcard, this will generate cards for the people you authorized and they will get their own card number, pin, etc, though the funding source will remain the same as the original redcard you have. The information of the people you "authorize" to use your card can be anyone from your family, friends, etc. If you are a debit card holder the addition of authorized users will not hurt yours or anyone else's credit score.
6. Click "Submit" and you should recieve the redcards in the mail! Once received it is recommended to keep them organized in a spreadsheet to not mix up information and have them ready to go for your profiles!
7. There you go! You can add up to 5 authorized users per redcard, remember to expect the physical card in the mail!
