# Target Cancel Check Guide

## Instructions

1. Please be logged into your target account, otherwise the following link will not work.
2. Copy the following link and **CHANGE** the "PUTYOURORDERNUMBERHERE" with the cancelled order number, paste the link and it should load a large string of text. <https://api.target.com/guest_order_aggregations/v1/PUTYOURORDERNUMBERHERE?key=f5e5f35b610d54dff3f3c9087c837f479f22686e>
3. Once loaded do Control + F (Windows) or Command + F (Mac) and search `reason`

## Cancel Reasons

#### Reason = "Reseller"

Reseller cancels are one of the more serious flags you can get. They typically stem from **too many orders being placed from the same zip code in a short timeframe**. While Target doesn’t publish an official limit, most users recommend waiting at least **24 hours before reusing the same zip code**. If you notice the “Reseller” status appearing after a certain number of checkouts tied to one zip, it’s a sign that you’ve likely hit that internal threshold.

A **Reseller flag isn’t always permanent**, but it *can* become so if you reach a point where **you can’t purchase manually, even after changing account info**. At that stage, the account is essentially burned, and **you’ll need to start fresh with a new account** using properly jigged information. Make sure to **jig your address, name, and email**, and never use your main/home address more than twice. Some users push this to 3–4 times, but it comes with increased risk and should be done with caution.

If your cancellation reason is listed as Reseller, it means your account has been flagged and likely won’t be able to order sought-after items going forward. We strongly suggest reviewing our [Jigging Guide](/naviaco-public-guides/guides/how-to-jig-profiles.md) before setting up new accounts to avoid triggering this again.

#### Reason = "Quantity Limit"

This cancel reason isn't that bad, likely you have ordered the specific sought after product recently and have been limited from making future purchases for a limited time, this usually happens when you try to checkout on the same account multiple times until you meet their quantity limit threshold, this limit usually turns off after 24 hours then you can reorder again till you meet the threshold etc.

#### Reason = "Item Demand" (Most Common)

Item Demand cancels are notoriously difficult to avoid and are often mistaken for quantity limit cancels. However, they’re more closely tied to **how many accounts are attempting to checkout under the same ZIP code or similar personal information**. Even with proper jigging, most users report hitting Item Demand cancels after about **5–10 checkouts within the same zip**, especially on hyped products. Other common triggers include **new or unaged accounts** and **poor jigging quality**. For this reason, we always recommend using **aged accounts with existing order history** over fresh ones to minimize your chances of getting flagged.

Another major factor is your **payment method**. If you’re using multiple VCCs (Virtual Credit Cards) from the same provider, there’s a strong chance Target is tracking and linking them. This may result in a **hidden purchase limit** tied to all those cards collectively, leading to cancels even if your jigging and account are solid. It’s worth experimenting with **different VCC providers** to see if that makes a difference—and don’t forget to evaluate your jig setup too, as Item Demand issues often stem from a **combo of shared VCCs and weak jigs**.

Lastly, many users have found that using **hard cards (physical credit/debit cards)** and **Target RedCards** results in far fewer Item Demand cancels. These tend to have a higher trust rating with Target’s systems and are less likely to be grouped into hidden limits like some VCCs. If you’re consistently getting hit with Item Demand flags, switching up your payment method should be one of your first steps. View our [Mulitple RedCard Guide](/naviaco-public-guides/profile-guides-requirements/target/multiple-redcard-guide.md) if you need help getting more RedCards!
